The daily cap is counted in segments
Campaign usage shows how much of today's brand limit you have left. Outbound Messages is the log of every text, and the end date is easy to set one day short.
A brand, here, is the business you registered for texting. Each one can have a daily cap counted in segments, not in messages. Settings, Campaign usage shows today's sending against those caps. Total used today is every segment so far, and the date next to it is UTC, which can differ from your local date late in the evening. Near cap, High risk, and Exhausted count how many brands are in each state. If no daily caps apply to your numbers yet, the table says so.
What the statuses mean
The busiest brand is first. Usage reads like segments used against the cap. Remaining is what that brand can still send today. Healthy is fine. Approaching daily limit is a warning. Almost at daily limit means 90 percent and up. Daily limit reached means numbers on that brand pause until the 24-hour reset. High risk is the same 90 percent threshold in the summary counts: new sends may be blocked soon. Exhausted means the pause is already on.
A very large audience should be split across days rather than started when you are already near the cap. Shorter texts go further, because trimming a message from two segments to one roughly doubles how many people fit in what is left. Why a draft becomes two segments is the Characters & Segments guide. If the workspace has its own daily message cap, Campaigns shows a corner banner once you have used 75 percent of it, and the banner changes when you hit 100 percent. You can dismiss it while you work.
The log is every send, not one campaign
Reports, Outbound Messages lists sent texts, newest first. Enter a start and end date as YYYY-MM-DD and run the report, or leave both empty. Columns are Sent, Sender, From number, Characters, and Segments. Fifty messages per page. Owners and admins see the workspace. Everyone else sees only messages they sent.
The end date counts up to the start of that day. To include all of a given date, set the end to the next day. Campaign Failures and Campaign Replies are the reports for one campaign. This log is the one for "what did we send, from which number, by whom."
The click-by-click version lives in the Usage & Message Logs guide.
