Usage & Message Logs
Check how much of today’s sending limit you’ve used before a big send, and look up every text your workspace sent in a date range.
How it works
- 1
Daily limits
Each brand you text under can have a daily cap, counted in segments.
- 2
Track usage
Campaign Usage shows what you’ve used and what’s left today.
- 3
Get warned
Statuses change as you near a limit, so you can plan sends.
- 4
Look it up
Outbound Messages lists every sent text with who sent it and from which number.
STEP 01
Open Settings → Campaign Usage
Campaign Usage shows today’s sending against each brand’s daily limit. A brand is the business you registered for texting. Usage is counted in segments, the pieces a longer text is split into when it’s sent.
- Total used today shows every segment sent so far, with the date in UTC.
- Near cap, High risk and Exhausted count how many brands are in each state.
- If no daily caps apply to your numbers yet, the table says so.
STEP 02
Read each brand’s limit
The table lists one row per brand, with the busiest brand first.
- Usage shows segments used against the daily cap, like 41k seg / 200k.
- Remaining is how many segments that brand can still send today.
- Status reads Healthy, Approaching daily limit, Almost at daily limit (90% and up), or Daily limit reached.
- Once a limit is hit, numbers on that brand pause until the 24-hour reset.
STEP 03
Know what happens at the limit
When a brand reaches its daily cap, the numbers on that brand stop sending until the 24-hour reset. Plan large sends with that in mind.
- High risk means you’re at 90% or more. New sends may be blocked soon.
- Exhausted means the limit is reached. Numbers on that brand are paused until reset.
- Split a very large audience across days rather than hitting the cap mid-send.
STEP 04
Watch for the daily limit banner
If your workspace has its own daily message cap, Campaigns shows a warning in the corner once you’ve used 75% of it.
- The banner shows how many messages you’ve used and how many remain today.
- At 100% it changes to Daily message limit reached.
- Click ✕ to dismiss the banner while you work.
STEP 05
Open the message log
Go to Reports in the sidebar. The first tab, Outbound Messages, is your log of every sent text, newest first.
- Enter a Start and End date in YYYY-MM-DD format, then click Run report.
- Leave both dates empty to see everything, newest first.
- Owners and admins see the whole workspace. Other roles see only messages they sent.
STEP 06
Read and page through the log
Each row is one sent text. Use it to check who sent what, and from which number.
- Columns: Sent, Sender, From number, Characters and Segments.
- 50 messages show per page. Use Prev and Next to move through them.
- For a single campaign’s failures or replies, use the other two Reports tabs.
Pro tips
Get more out of Usage & Message Logs
Check before big sends
Open Campaign Usage before a large blast so you know how many segments that brand has left today.
Shorter texts go further
Limits count segments. Trimming a message from two segments to one roughly doubles how many people you can reach.
Dates are in UTC
The date next to Total used today is a UTC date, which can differ from your local date late in the day.
Spread out large lists
If an audience is bigger than what’s left today, send part of it now and schedule the rest for tomorrow.
Include the full last day
The End date counts up to the start of that day. To include all of Oct 7, set End to 2026-10-08.
Use the right report
Outbound Messages covers every sent text. Campaign Failures and Campaign Replies focus on one campaign at a time.
Common questions
What is a daily sending limit?
Each brand you text under can have a daily cap, counted in segments. Once it’s reached, numbers on that brand stop sending until the 24-hour reset.
Why don’t I see anything in Campaign Usage?
No daily send limits are configured for your workspace yet, or nothing has been recorded. Rows appear once caps apply to your numbers.
Where can I see every text we sent?
Open Reports → Outbound Messages. It lists each sent text with the time, sender, from number, characters and segments.
Can I see only my own messages?
If you’re not an owner or admin, Outbound Messages already shows only messages you sent. Owners and admins see the whole workspace.
