AI Writing Tools
Text Blaster has two AI helpers in the Message section. AI Suggest writes fresh options: rewrites of your draft or ready-made frameworks. Polish tidies the draft you already have without changing what it says.
How it works
- 1
Start a draft
Type a rough message, or start from nothing if you want frameworks.
- 2
Generate options
AI Suggest returns compliant rewrites or reusable frameworks.
- 3
Apply or save
Drop one into your message, or save it as a template for later.
- 4
Polish and send
Tighten the wording in place, then review it like any other text.
STEP 01
Find AI Suggest and Polish
Both buttons sit on the right of the Message header in Text Blaster, next to AB and Use template.
- Polish needs some text in the message box before it can run.
- With A/B test on, the tools work on the variant you last clicked into.
- The same composer, with the same tools, appears when owners and admins set up a round-robin blast.
STEP 02
Open AI Suggest and set the context
Click AI Suggest to open AI Compliant Suggestions. Before you generate, tell the AI who you are and how you want to sound.
- Brand or name override and Industry override are optional. Leave them blank to use your account details.
- A specific industry, like “residential HVAC”, gets more relevant wording than a broad one.
- Pick a tone: Professional, Friendly, Casual or Sales.
- Target shows whether you’re working on the message or on Variant A or B.
STEP 03
Generate compliant rewrites
On the Rewrite Message tab, check the text under Current message being rewritten, then click Generate compliant rewrites. You get a few alternative versions of your draft.
- Edits you make to the current message also update your draft in Text Blaster.
- Each option has a title, an editable text box and a short note on why it works.
- Click Apply to put that version in your message and close the dialog.
- Click Save to keep it as a template in Campaigns → Templates.
STEP 04
Ask for another round with feedback
Not quite right? Click Generate compliant rewrites again. Statxt asks what you didn’t like, then generates new options that differ from the ones you passed on.
- Keep feedback to one short sentence, like “shorter, and mention Saturday slots”.
- Use Previous and Next to flip between the rewrite sets you’ve generated. They’re kept for about 10 minutes.
- Delete cached set clears the set you’re looking at.
- Recent feedback is remembered for your account, so later suggestions lean toward your style.
STEP 05
Start from a framework
Switch to Build Frameworks when you don’t have a draft yet. Click Generate framework templates for ready-made messages that fit your industry.
- No draft is needed. Frameworks are built from your brand, industry and tone.
- Each one comes with why it works, safe words to lean on and words to avoid.
- Click Apply Template to use it, or Save to keep it in your templates.
STEP 06
Polish the draft in place
Click Polish when you like your message and only want cleaner wording. It rewrites the text right in the message box.
- Polish keeps your opener, topic and call to action. It fixes wording, not the idea.
- Click Polish again to ask for another pass. Statxt asks what you didn’t like about the polish first.
- Use Rewrite to explore different angles, then Polish once the structure feels right.
STEP 07
Review before you send
AI output is a starting point. Read it like any other message before you click Blast Message.
- The AI is told to keep merge fields like {first_name} as written, and every suggestion names the sender with {brand_name} or {sender_name}. Still check they’re all there.
- Check the character and segment counter. A longer rewrite can cost an extra segment.
- The live compliance check and the check at send still run on AI text, so fix anything that gets highlighted.
Pro tips
Get more out of AI Writing Tools
Rewrite, then Polish
Use Rewrite to try different angles. Once you like the shape of a message, use Polish to tighten it.
Be specific about industry
“Residential HVAC” or “pet grooming” gives the AI more to work with than “services”.
Short feedback works best
One clear note per round, like “less formal” or “mention the weekend”, gets better results than a long list.
Edit before you apply
Every suggestion has an editable text box. Fix a word or two there, then click Apply.
Build a template library
Click Save on suggestions you like. They land in Campaigns → Templates, named after the suggestion and today’s date.
Test AI copy against yours
Turn on A/B test and use AI Suggest on Variant B only. Your own draft in Variant A becomes the benchmark.
Common questions
What’s the difference between Rewrite and Polish?
Rewrite (inside AI Suggest) gives you several new versions to choose from. Polish edits your current draft in place and keeps its opener, topic and call to action.
Will the AI change my merge fields?
It’s instructed to keep merge fields like {first_name} exactly as written, and every suggestion includes {brand_name} or {sender_name} to name the sender. Give the result a quick read before you apply it.
Does AI text skip the compliance checks?
No. AI suggestions are written to avoid risky wording, but your message is still checked as you type and again when you send.
Does the AI learn from my feedback?
Yes, for your account. Recent feedback is kept as a short preference memory and used for future suggestions.
