Auto-Blast Schedules
Set up a text that sends itself on a repeating schedule. Pick your contact groups, choose the days and time, write the message once, and Statxt sends it on every scheduled day until the schedule ends.
How it works
- 1
Pick groups
Choose the contact groups to text. Statxt counts who is eligible.
- 2
Set the schedule
Pick weekdays, a send time and how many weeks or months to run.
- 3
Write the message
Write it once. Merge fields like {first_name} personalize each send.
- 4
Runs on autopilot
Each scheduled day, Statxt sends to everyone still eligible.
STEP 01
Open Campaigns → Auto-blast
Auto-blast is a tab inside Campaigns. It opens the Auto-Blast Center, where every schedule you’ve created shows as a card.
- Click New schedule to open the builder.
- Switch between Dashboard and Calendar. The calendar shows scheduled runs for the next 30 days.
- Schedules are personal. You only see the ones you created, and only you can edit them.
STEP 02
Name it and pick contact groups
In the builder, open the General step. Give the schedule a name and choose one or more contact groups.
- Leave the name blank and Statxt suggests one, like “Auto-blast for Trial Leads”.
- Statxt shows how many eligible recipients you have. Opted-out and DNC contacts aren’t counted.
- Over 5,000 recipients? Each run is split into several campaigns of up to 5,000 each.
- Auto-pause on reply is on by default: anyone who replies is skipped on later runs.
STEP 03
Set the days, time and length
Open the Schedule step. Choose which weekdays to send on, the time of day, and how long the schedule should keep running.
- New schedules start on Mon, Wed and Fri at 9:00am. Change them to suit you.
- Under Frequency, set how long it runs, like 4 Weeks or 3 Months. After that, it finishes on its own.
- Send times use your timezone, which is detected automatically and shown in this step.
STEP 04
Write the message and activate
Open the Content step and write the text. Each scheduled run sends it as a regular campaign from one of your numbers.
- Use merge fields like {first_name} to personalize each send.
- Watch the character and segment count under the message. Longer texts use more credits.
- Turn on Lock to 160 to cap the message at 160 characters.
- Click Activate. The schedule goes live and the first run is set for the next matching day and time.
STEP 05
Track, pause and edit
Each card in the Auto-Blast Center shows how the schedule is doing and when it runs next. Use the ⋮ menu on a card to change it.
- Sent, Replied and Runs give you a quick read on results.
- Pause Schedule stops future runs. Resume Schedule turns it back on.
- Edit Schedule reopens the builder, with a Runs step that lists past runs and any errors.
- Delete Schedule removes it for good. Texts already sent aren’t affected.
Pro tips
Get more out of Auto-Blast Schedules
Let replies stop the sends
Keep Auto-pause on reply on. Once someone texts back, they stop getting this schedule, and you can carry on the conversation yourself.
Groups are read on each run
Every run sends to whoever is eligible in your groups at that moment. Contacts you add to a group are picked up on the next run.
Avoid double-texting
Leave Exclude them selected in the audience safety gate so people your team texted recently are skipped.
One at a time
Only one auto-blast sends at a time in a workspace. If two are due together, the second waits in line and starts when the first is done.
Keep a number active
Statxt picks the sending number for you. If no number is available when a run starts, the run fails and the schedule pauses.
Respect opt-outs
Opted-out and DNC contacts are never texted. Still include opt-out language like “Reply STOP to opt out” in your message.
Common questions
What is an auto-blast?
An auto-blast is a campaign that repeats on a schedule. You pick contact groups, weekdays, a send time and how long it should run, and Statxt sends the message automatically on each scheduled day.
Do the same contacts get the message every time?
Yes. Each run goes to everyone eligible in the selected groups. Opted-out and DNC contacts are skipped, and with Auto-pause on reply on, so is anyone who has replied.
What happens when the schedule ends?
After the length you set under Frequency, the schedule stops sending and its status changes to completed.
Can my teammates see or edit my auto-blasts?
No. Each schedule is visible only to the person who created it, and only they can edit, pause or delete it.
