Invite a teammate, or link their company instead
Internal Team adds a person to your workspace with a role. A Team Extension links a partner's own Statxt organization and leaves their billing alone.
Settings, Team is the list of who is in the workspace, who has not accepted yet, and which outside organizations are connected. Active means they joined. Pending means the invite is still open. Connected marks a Team Extension. Only owners and admins can send invites, cancel them, change roles, or remove members.
The invite is an email plus a role
Invite member, leave Invite on Internal Team, and enter the email they will sign in with. The role is Admin, Manager, Member, or Viewer, and you can change it later. Member type is a label for how they work with you: Employee, Contractor, Agency, or Partner. Create Invite makes a unique link, emails it, and also shows it in the dialog so you can copy it if the mail does not send. They must sign in with that exact email. If Statxt created the account, the page shows a temporary password and asks them to change it. Their row flips to Active once they join.
Pending invites count toward the plan's team member limit. At the cap, the dialog tells you how many the plan allows. Cancel invites nobody will accept before you upgrade. Start people on Member or Viewer and raise the role if they need it. Only the owner can change the owner. The owner cannot be removed, and you cannot remove yourself.
Members, managers, and viewers send from their own wallet. A new person with no credits still cannot text until someone allocates some. Wallets, the org pool, and Move credits are the Billing & Credits guide. Owners, admins, and managers can also set a daily message limit from the row menu. Leave it empty for unlimited. Organization limits still apply.
A partner with their own account is not a seat
Team Extension, in the same dialog, is for an agency or partner that already has a Statxt organization. Only owners and admins see the option. Their plan and credits stay theirs. They do not join your workspace. They accept by signing in with the invited email, and they need their own organization first. Once connected they show up as Team 2, then Team 3, and so on. The row menu can rename them, gift credits, or remove the link.
The click-by-click version lives in the Invite Team Members guide.
