Save the message once, in the right place
Campaign templates are shared and fill in merge fields at send time. Quick replies are yours alone, and inserting one only fills the box.
Statxt has two places to save a message you are tired of retyping. Inserting either one copies text into a box. It does not change a message you already sent, and it does not send the new one by itself. The difference is who else can see it, and whether the name tokens fill in.
Templates are the campaign copy
Campaigns, Templates is shared with the workspace. The page is Create Template on top and Existing Templates below, sorted by how often they have been used. Each row shows the name, a preview, a category, and the used count. Name and body are required. Category is free text, so a short set of labels such as reminders or follow-up is more useful than a new category every time. Merge-field chips insert tokens at the cursor, and the page lists the ones it found. The body is checked for compliance as you type. Risky words are highlighted before you ever click Create.
In Text Blaster, Use template sits next to AB. Pick a row and the body replaces whatever is already in the message box. Edit it for this campaign. The saved template does not change. Each use increments the count, which is why specific names such as "Service reminder" are easier to find than "Template 3".
Leave {first_name}, {brand_name}, and the other tokens in the body. They fill in at send time. If the workspace appends an opt-out footer, leave "Reply STOP to opt out." out of the template so it is not sent twice. The character count for that footer is in the Characters & Segments guide.
When A/B test is on, the single Use template button becomes A and B. That is a clean way to start two saved versions. Save on an AI Suggest rewrite or framework also creates a template, named after the suggestion plus today's date. You can rename it from the list. The pencil edits a template in place. Campaigns you already sent are untouched, because inserting a template copied the text at the time. The trash icon deletes immediately, with no confirmation.
Quick replies are yours alone
Quick replies are the short answers you already send every day: hours, directions, a pricing line, a "let me check". They are saved to your login, not the workspace. A teammate does not see them, edit them, or delete them. The panel shows up to 50.
Open any conversation and click the sparkle button to the left of the composer. If you have not saved one, the panel says so. To add one, type the message in the chat box first, open the panel, name it, and click Save. Both a name and some text are required. Saving does not send. The text stays in the box until you send or clear it.
Click a reply and its text replaces whatever is already in the composer. You still press Enter. That pause matters, because a saved answer is rarely perfect for the person on the thread. Short names such as Hours or Pricing are easier to scan than the first words of the message. Hover a row for the pencil and the trash icon. Edit loads the text and the name back into the fields. Delete asks you to confirm, which templates do not.
In a single conversation, tokens such as {first_name} are sent exactly as typed. Write the name, or leave the token out of the saved reply. In a bulk reply they fill in. Select up to 10 conversations, choose Send bulk reply, and open Quick replies & templates. Your campaign templates are in that same menu. Personalization has to be on for the fields to resolve per contact. If Stop at 160 characters is on under Settings, Profile, a longer quick reply is cut to 160 characters when it is inserted. A reply you will reuse a hundred times is an expensive place to drift into a second segment.
