Integrations
Settings → Integrations connects Statxt to Google Sheets, so you can import contacts straight from a spreadsheet, and to STATXE, so contacts and sending can flow between the two platforms.
How it works
- 1
Connect Google
Sign in with Google and allow read-only access to Sheets and Drive.
- 2
Pick a spreadsheet
Pull your spreadsheets and save the one you use for contact lists.
- 3
Import contacts
Load a sheet tab in Contacts → Import, map the columns, and import.
- 4
Link STATXE
Paste your STATXE key, choose a sending domain, and turn on auto-sync.
STEP 01
Open Settings → Integrations
The Integrations tab shows three cards. Each card has a badge that tells you whether it’s connected.
- Connect to STATXE links your own STATXE account to Statxt.
- STATXE → Statxt holds the platform key STATXE uses to call Statxt. Only owners and admins can manage it.
- Google Sheets lets you import contacts from a spreadsheet.
STEP 02
Connect your Google account
On the Google Sheets card, click Connect Google. You’ll sign in with Google and approve access, then come back to Statxt.
- Statxt asks for read-only access to Google Sheets and Drive. It can’t change your files.
- The card then shows Connected and the Google account you signed in with.
- Each Google account can be linked to one Statxt user.
- Click Disconnect any time to remove the connection.
STEP 03
Save the spreadsheet you use most
Click Pull spreadsheets to load your recent spreadsheets, choose one, and click Save spreadsheet.
- Search by name to find the right file quickly.
- The saved spreadsheet is picked for you when you import contacts later.
- You can still choose a different spreadsheet at import time.
STEP 04
Import contacts from a sheet
Go to Contacts → Import. With Google connected, a Google Sheets section appears above the file upload.
- Pick the Spreadsheet and the Sheet tab, then click Load sheet.
- Map Fields: match each column to a contact field. Make sure your phone number column is mapped.
- Choose import settings such as Skip Duplicates and Check DNC List.
- Review the summary, then import. Not connected yet? The section links you to Settings → Integrations.
STEP 05
Link your STATXE account
If you also use STATXE, link it on the Connect to STATXE card. Each person links their own STATXE key.
- Paste the key from your STATXE dashboard into STATXE API key and click Save key. Keys start with stx_.
- Click Pull domains, choose a verified Sending domain, and click Save domain.
- Turn on Auto-sync new contacts to STATXE to push new contacts you own that have an email address.
- Contacts that came from STATXE are never pushed back. Click Remove to unlink.
STEP 06
Let STATXE call Statxt (owners and admins)
For STATXE to add contacts, create campaigns or send texts in Statxt, an owner or admin creates a platform key on the STATXE → Statxt card and pastes it into STATXE.
- Pick the Acting user. STATXE’s requests run as this team member and can only use numbers assigned to them.
- Click Create key and copy it right away. It’s shown only once.
- Keys expire after 180 days. Regenerate key replaces the old key immediately, and Revoke key stops STATXE’s access.
- The card also lists the endpoint URLs to paste into STATXE.
Pro tips
Get more out of Integrations
Clean the sheet first
Give each column a clear header like First name or Phone. Mapping goes faster and fewer rows are skipped.
Keep DNC checks on
Leave Check DNC List on when you import, so numbers on your DNC list aren’t added.
Use one tab per list
Statxt imports one sheet tab at a time. Keep each contact list on its own tab.
Auto-sync is forward-only
Auto-sync to STATXE pushes contacts added after you turn it on. It doesn’t copy your older contacts.
Choose the acting user carefully
STATXE requests act as the acting user and send only from their numbers. Pick someone whose numbers fit that traffic.
Rotate before expiry
The STATXE → Statxt card shows when the platform key expires. Regenerate it and update STATXE before then.
Common questions
Can Statxt edit my Google spreadsheets?
No. Statxt asks only for read-only access to Google Sheets and Drive, so it can list and read your spreadsheets.
Do I import contacts on the Integrations tab?
No. Integrations is where you connect Google. The import itself happens in Contacts → Import, where you pick the sheet tab and map columns.
Who can manage the STATXE → Statxt platform key?
Only owners and admins. Other team members can still link their own STATXE account and Google account.
Where are API keys and webhooks?
Those are in Settings → Developers, not Integrations. See the API & MCP guide.
